    In presidential news, Barack Obama - senator from Illinois running for presidency of 2008 - just announced his statement on the current President Bush's commuting on the Libby case.

    President Bush commuted Lewis "Scooter" Libby's 30-month prison sentence today. In doing so, Bush overrode both the jury's verdict and the decision of a three-judge panel that Libby's prison sentence should not be delayed.

Barack released this statement on the President's decision:
 

This decision to commute the sentence of a man who compromised our national security cements the legacy of an Administration characterized by a politics of cynicism and division, one that has consistently placed itself and its ideology above the law. This is exactly the kind of politics we must change so we can begin restoring the American people's faith in a government that puts the country's progress ahead of the bitter partisanship of recent years.

Obama is most noticeably seen in the candidacy with his hopes and statements for a better government, education and a nation of unified people. Barack recently broke the record in the grassroot campaign fund raising earliest in trail. With over 250,000 supporters and over 300,000 donations, the Obama campaign has raised $32.5 million for the general election and $31 million for the primary.

Sharing the news from my neck of the woods, I've successfully spent the past 3 weeks working on construction for an office I'm supposed to move in. I'm tired, I'm beat, and I have paint/drywall mud/primer all over my clothes and skin. Ohhh, how I wish it was done and I could start working from there. Luckily my friends are keeping busy with their fun.
